Enterprises will soon run more agents than employees, and every one of them holds credentials, calls tools, moves money, and chains actions across systems no single team can see. A risk surface this large has never existed before. The market that secures it has no natural ceiling, because the entities it secures have none.

Agents fail like people rather than software. The risk lives in the trajectory: the prompt, the retrieval, the tool call, the identity behind it, and everything it touches downstream. The hard-won intuitions of the security field still matter, but the products built on them were not designed for this. Each one reasons over a single data source, the endpoint, the network, or the identity log, and an agent’s behavior falls in the gaps between all of them. Securing this surface will reshape much of the intuition the field has spent thirty years building.

A problem this hard will require a rare team: cybersecurity practitioners who have lived the old playbook, AI researchers who understand how these systems actually behave, and builders who ship. We reason from first principles, stay open to ideas no one has tried, and would rather govern the future than wait for it to break.
